October 23, 1921

At a regular special congregation meeting held by Congregation Agudath Achim with all officials present. D. Gallant as acting chairman.

Moved and carried that the second and final reading of our new constitution and by-laws be adopted as read, unanimously.

Moved and carried to enter in our by-laws that "the President has the privilege to appoint a Shamish or Gobie."

Moved and carried the new constitution and by-laws books to be printed in English and Yiddish and to be given to each member of the congregation.

Mr. Joe Goldberg was elected unanimously as President for a term of one year.

Mr. Ely Kaminsky was elected unanimously as Vice President for a term of one year.

Mr. Abraham Wolper was elected unanimously as Secretary for a term of one year.

Mr. Morris Groner was elected unanimously as Treasurer for a term on one year.

Three-year Board of Trustees elected as follows: E. Renov, M. Baron and S.H. Hochberger.

One-year board of Trustees elected as follows: D.L. Vilensky, I. Frumer and D.L. Abrams.

Moved and carried that Chevra Kadisha be reelected as stands.

With no other business the meeting adjourned.

Moved and carried to advertise in the Jewish Daily News for a Rabbi, Teacher and lecturer for the salary of $3000.00 per year.

November 13, 1921

At a regular trustee meeting held by Congregation Agudath Achim with D. Gallant presiding.

Moved and carried to entertain Rabbi M. Mandel’s application until further investigation.

Moved and carried to accept Joseph Jacobson as a member of our congregation.

November 27, 1921

At a regular trustee meeting held by Congregation Agudath Achim with D. Gallant presiding.

Moved and carried that B. Brownstein, Louis Abramson, A. Bernstein, and N. Zalinsky reported on by committee of reduction of dues, that same should stand as assessed.

The Secretary was instructed to notify above mentioned members to that effect, and in failure to pay dues as assessed they will be compelled to buy meat coupons in order to have the use of the congregation Schochet.

Moved and carried that non-members of the congregation must secure meat coupons immediately and Schochet should not kill fowls or sell kosher meat without same.

The Secretary was instructed to notify Rev. J. Cantor to that effect. With no other business of importance the meeting adjourned.

December 6, 1921

At a special trustee meeting held by Congregation Agudath Achim with D. Gallant presiding.

Moved and carried that Board of Trustees invite Rabbi H.L. Radlin of Fort Worth, Texas as a guest to our congregation to show his ability and congregation to pay all expense.

Moved and carried to send telegram as an invitation.

With no other business of importance the meeting adjourned.

December 11, 1921

At a regular special trustee meeting held by Congregation Agudath Achim with D. Gallant presiding.

Moved and carried to call a special congregation meeting for next Sunday, Dec. 18, 1921 to receive report from Board of Trustees on that said question and to take such action as to be necessary.

Moved and carried to accept S. Kesilman as a member of our congregation and assessment to be $36 per year.

Moved and carried to accept Sam Brandt as a member of our congregation and assessment to be $48 per year.

Moved and carried to accept A. Katz as a member of our congregation and assessment to be $36 per year.

Moved and carried that congregation should send away money collected for war sufferers of which 80% should be sent to The Central Relief Committee and 20% to the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society.

December 13, 1921

At a special trustee meeting held by Congregation Agudath Achim with D. Gallant presiding.

Moved and carried that the Board of Trustees recommend to congregation that we give Rabbi H.L. Radlin a trial as Teacher and Lecturer for salary of $25.00 per month for three months with understanding that at end of that period if not satisfactory he has no further claim against the congregation.

Moved and carried to repair everything necessary in school rooms and not to exceed one hundred dollars (100.00). Committee appointed for same as follows: Jos. Graeber, E. Renov and D.L. Vilensky.

December 18, 1921

At a special trustee meeting held by Congregation Agudath Achim with D. Gallant presiding.

Moved and carried the Board of Trustees agrees not to recommend to congregation J.L. Radlin for trial for three months as Rabbi.

December 18, 1921

At a special Congregation meeting held by Congregation Agudath Achim with President J. Goldberg presiding.

Moved and carried that H.L. Radlin’s application be rejected.

Moved and carried that the congregation empower the Board of Trustees to spend the amount not exceeding three hundred dollars ($300) to bring any applicant here for an approval.
